Sponsor Pete to Swim

Pete Branch is going to compete in the Morcambe Swim for us which covers a distance of 1500m
and we are looking for the kids to get sponsorship for him.


Sponsor forms will be handed out next week.

What's On?

No Beavers, Cubs or Scouts this week (28th June) but will be running up to 26th July.

Summer Camp 29th July to 1st August 2011

We propose to take the Cubs and Scouts camping for 4 days at the end of July. This will be what we call Green Field Camping - no facilities! Water will have to be carried to the field and toilets will be portaloos. The site is at Greenhill Farm on Halton Road. 

The children should be dropped off at 9 am on Friday morning, 29th July, and picked up at 5 pm on Monday evening, 1st August. The cost will be £30. 

We would like Beavers to come up for the day on Saturday 30th July, 10 am to 4 pm. 

The cost for this will be £5. 

Directions and kit list will follow to those who are going on camp. 

Please speak to us by the 5th July if you wish your child to come along. You may pay in full or spread the cost up to 26th July.

The Hut

Did you know that we have a scout hut?  It's currently in need of repair and can't be used.
